A new Sappi paper for sophisticated humic glue labels

Sappi's new paper, Parade Label Pro, is a double-coated paper on one side that provides a very nice printing and finishing result, according to its manufacturer

South Africa-based paper group Sappi is expanding its Parade range of wet glue label papers with the Parade Label Pro. The paper is specially designed for the production of sophisticated labels, says the manufacturer.

This non-moisture resistant paper is a double coated glossy paper on one side. Its surface is white with a glossy appearance. "Thanks to its special surface properties, the double-coated glossy paper achieves outstanding printing results with maximum ink brilliance."

The Parade Label Pro can be printed in offset, flexo and gravure and is compatible with hot foil and embossing finishing.

Available in 80 and 90 g/m 2 The Parade Label Pro is designed for a wide range of applications, such as labels for disposable bottles, food and non-food containers, chocolate packaging and packaging for various products.

Parade Label Pro is certified for direct food contact and upon request, Sappi can provide Parade Label Pro with FSC or PEFC certification.
The new label paper is manufactured in Europe at Sappi's Gratkorn plant in Austria.
