Nat, a natural paper produced from agricultural residues

The fiber and cellulose residues are recovered to produce pure, wood-free pulp from agricultural sugarcane waste.

Nat is a new tree-free paper that arrives on the French market. Coming directly from the sugar cane fields and the paper mill and in partnership with IPT, its representative in France, it is a pure pulp paper produced from the residues of the sugar production, bioethanol, etc.

"Here, the residues of fibers and cellulose are used to produce a pure pulp, without wood, since this paper comes from the agricultural waste of cane renewed every year and without bleaching agent, its natural beige color is similar to that of parchment and papyrus, explains the supplier.

Printability tests carried out by Ethap Groupe

The adapted company Ethap is the first French printing company to offer its customers this new type of paper, which is perfectly in line with a CSR approach. The printing company has tested the printability of the paper on its digital machine Konica Accurio C6085 and offset press with Brancher vegetable inks. According to the printer, these tests were very conclusive.

"We are the first printing company and Adapted Enterprise in France to offer Nat NATurel paper, a new 100% eco-responsible CSR solution for printing, finishing and mailing.»

Envelope-free routing

Ethap also printed and routed a mailer without an envelope, just with a fugitive glue dot closure.

« Only one sheet of A4 paper weighing 5g acts as both carrier and content and the mail arrived in good condition!»
