The logo of the Angoulême Comics Festival changes

The famous fawn drawn by Lewis Trondheim, mascot of the International Comics Festival of Angoulême, is not on the logo of the 49th edition. The logo has been purified to highlight Angoulême and make the name of the city a brand, explained Franck Bondoux, director of the 9th Art +, to France 3 Nouvelle-Aquitaine .

Recyclable packaging for a Breton butter

Launched by the Sodiaal cooperative, via its subsidiary Candia, a new butter is marketed in supermarkets under the brand "Nature de Breton". One of the particularities of this product: it is preserved in a 96% paper packaging, and is 99% recyclable, explains Dimitri Angelidis, marketing manager at Sodiaal, in Ouest France. "We are the only ones in Europe to offer such a packaging for butter", he tells the newspaper.

A French biodegradable stopper for spirits

Lyspackaging, a Charente-based company, has developed a biodegradable cork head (the cap above the cork) to replace traditional plastic cork heads. A vegetal cork head can disappear in less than 80 days, explains Nicolas Moufflet, the CEO of Lyspackaging to France Bleu La Rochelle.

The 11 e world Print Triennial until November 7

The World Print Triennial is a unique event in France in the world of printmaking, which takes place every 3 years in Chamalières. From September 23 to November 7, 2021, the event welcomes hundreds of artists from around the world. The jury, composed of art and printmaking professionals, will award several prizes among the 180 printmakers from 5 continents. The triennial also allows the public to see exhibitions of contemporary printmakers.
