Here are the five new features of the Caldera RIP version 15

CalderaRIP V 15 includes two new features and three enhanced tools.

The French software publisher of printing and cutting digital Caldera launches a new version of its RIP for large format and textile, CalderaRIP Version 15. Caldera users can now update their RIP to take advantage of this new mount.

In addition to support for the macOS Monterey operating system and the addition of more than 20 print and cut drivers, CalderaRIP Version 15 includes two new features - White Under Marks and Preview - as well as three enhanced tools. Three additional features are also available to CalderaCare subscribers.

The new functionality White Under Marks improves cutting accuracy on non-white substrates such as dark, transparent or metallic substrates. "CalderaRIP V15 adds white ink under and around cut marks and codes to improve cutter detection" explains the publisher.

Version 15 also includes Preview A preview feature that makes it easy to track nested jobs.
It allows inspection and verification of jobs, before and after printing, and can be used to "easily identify jobs within a nest and control marks to minimize errors and media waste" .

With Caldera V15, the pantone's Fashion and Home Interior (FHI) color library has been updated. It includes more than 2310 colors, including 315 new references specifically for the fashion and interior design sector.

The function TileOrder has also been revised. This tool, which allows you to choose the order in which the mosaics are printed in order to reduce their assembly time, has new parameters dedicated to vehicle wraps. It also allows to choose a large format printing starting from the bottom right if the order of the printed sheets is more appropriate during the on-site assembly.

And the function Wide Contour Offset version 15 offers new options such as wider cutting offsets to improve cutting accuracy on textile substrates that tend to shrink or distort.

In addition to this new version of CalderaRIP, the company is also releasing version 1.12 of CalderaDock, the toolkit for managing the licensing and installation of Caldera solutions.
