Storopack, the German-based protective packaging group, is launching a new paper-based alternative to traditional plastic bubble wrap: PAPERbubble. Through an embossing pattern, this packaging combines paper and air to offer the same protective properties of conventional bubble films. Unlike plastic solutions, PAPERbubble is recyclable and made from renewable raw materials.
PAPERbubble sheets are available in packs of 300 ready-to-use 580 mm x 380 mm sheets for shipping small, fragile products such as cosmetics and electronic components.
"Paper is a simple solution for wrapping and protecting packaged goods, as well as for filling voids in packages. (euros) This PAPERbubble carton allows for simple and ergonomic use of paper formats directly at the packing station." says the manufacturer. This PAPERbubble also makes it possible to present the products "in an elegant, ecological and unique treeuross format" according to Storopack.
