Antalis launches the Antalis Creative Power Awards competition

Until May 31, 2022, graphic designers, communication agencies, printers and brands are invited to submit their best projects using at least one paper distributed by Antalis in order to win one of the prizes in the Antalis Creative Power Awards competition.

Every year, Antalis organizes a competition in France for designs printed on recycled and creative papers. Today, the European paper distributor is launching the Antalis Creative Power Awards, the international version of this graphic design competition that rewards creative paper and sustainable printing.

In partnership with the graphic design platform The Brand Identity, the distributor belonging to the Kokusai Pulp & Paper group invites independent graphic designers, communication agencies, printers and advertisers from all over the world to submit their projects made from papers distributed by Antalis.

"From minimalist styles to more traditional designs, the Antalis Creative Power Awards competition welcomes any print project created with a wide choice of paper brands (Olin Design, Olin Origins, Pergraphicaeuros) in partnership with leading suppliers such as Arjowiggins, Favini and Cordenons." explains the distributor based in the Paris region.

The prints will be judged by a panel of print and graphic design professionals including Elliott Moody, creative and content director of The Brand Identity studio, Frenchman Yann Cloutier, founder and president of Atelier Bulk, a printing company specializing in the embellishment of printed objects, and Emilios Theofanous, English typographer from the Monotype foundry.

One prize for each of the four categories of printed matter

Applicants may compete in four application categories:
euros Reports and Publishing which includes annual reports, CSR reports, art books, catalogs, etc.
euros Mailers and Invitations which includes press releases, invitations, postcards, flyers, etc.
euros Packaging and Promotional for gift boxes, posters, folding boxes, etc.
euros Brand Identity and Stationery which includes business stationery, brand identity, menus and notebooks.

The winners of these four categories will win a dinner in a gourmet restaurant in their country.

and four special prizes to be won

Four other prizes, the special prizes, will be awarded:
euros the Design for Good award this award recognizes design that supports environmental or societal causes
euros the Paper Stories prize the award is based on the creative power of paper in a communication campaign
the Eco-Conception prize, which highlights productions made from responsible paper solutions
euros the Print Excellence award the trophy will be awarded to the project with the highest technical score in the other categories.

The winners of these special prizes will win a trip to visit the Arjowiggins mill in Stoneywood, Scotland, which has been making paper since 1770.

And a magazine presenting the 50 favorite creations of the jury will be published at the end of the contest.

Winners will be announced in September.

Applications are to be submitted online at the competition website until May 31, 2022.
