New version of the ABG Omega SRI label converting machine

The new Omega SRI3 label converting machine from ABG offers increased modularity and improved ergonomics.

UK-based label finishing equipment manufacturer ABGraphic International is launching a new version of its Omega SRI (SRI stands for slitting, rewinding and inspection) slitter. Called the Omega SRI3, this new generation of slitting and rewinding equipment features several improvements.

The Omega SRI3 allows for a larger unwind diameter of up to 830 mm (previously 800 mm). The splicing table has been lowered for greater operator comfort.
The new Omega SRI is also equipped with an arm for easy web cutting and has an integrated web guide like the ABG Digicon series.

The manual slitting can be switched to an automated slitting, which was not possible on the previous SRI, and the rewinding module can be replaced at any time by a barrel rewinder.

As with the previous version, it is equipped with ABG's fleyeVision camera-based print control system.

Based on a modular design, the Omega SRI3 can be configured differently according to the printer's needs and can easily benefit from future developments.
