The Parisian graphic design studio Recto Verso had warned that if its first typographic color chart was successful, it would create new versions. And with funding that far exceeded the initial goal (they obtained nearly three times the amount requested), the designers did not hesitate: they are now offering the second version of Typologie.
Presented in the form of a color chart, the Typologie font collection is "an atypical and practical object, a color chart that allows you to match fonts together, becoming at the same time a working tool, a creative support to bring to customer meetings, a catalog of inspiration and a book of typography aeuros part entieeurosre" explains Recto Verso.
The first one gathered fonts from all over the world, the second one honors the Swiss foundries. This second project is also submitted to the participatory financing launched on the Kickstarter platform, from May 20th 2022. There is no doubt that the amount requested to realize this beautiful typographic object will be reached.
Typology Swiss edition includes more than 80 "typographic nuggets on 260 pages, whether they are curious, useful, raw, sensitive, readable, paid or freely licensed" . Each font is presented in English and French on two pages and the fonts are classified in five categories: serif, sans serif, display, monospace and expressive.
