David Lynch puts the spotlight on Idem, the discreet jewel of Montparnasse

In an article published on March 19 in Les Echos david Lynch talks about his deep attachment to the Idem printing works, which he discovered in 2007 during a visit to Paris. Seduced by the untouched atmosphere of this lithographic workshop in Montparnasse, the filmmaker returned regularly to produce his prints, more than three hundred to date. Once home to Fernand Mourlot's studio, the site preserves the memory of a century of graphic creation, from Matisse to Giacometti. Under the direction of Patrice Forest since the late 1990s, Idem continues to bring to life the gestures of the lithographer with Voirin and Marinoni presses, away from the hustle and bustle, between tradition and contemporary creation.
