An Easymatrix cutting platen from Octavo

Eight months ago, a Heidelberg Easymatrix 106 CS diecutter was installed at the Octavo Group's Vernon site in the Eure region of France. The new platen will enable the company to internalize cutting and ejection operations, which until now have been largely outsourced, in order to improve responsiveness and reduce logistics costs.
The Easymatrix can handle formats from 360 x 400 mm to 750 x 1,060 mm, with an output of up to 7,700 sheets per hour and a maximum pressure of 260 tons. It can handle paper from 90 g/m2 to 2,000 g/m2 solid board, as well as corrugated board up to 4 mm.
This equipment will also enable the group to develop its business in the packaging market.

With two new machines Matoubrillant strengthens its shaping operations

Marseille-based Matoubrillant has recently integrated two pieces of finishing equipment: a Duplo DF-1000 folder and a Duplo DC-645 cutter-weeder.
The folding machine complements an existing model, to support the ramp-up in production of leaflets, brochures and card products, notably via the Web2Print business. The DC-645 enables cutting and creasing operations to be performed in a single pass on recurring production runs such as business cards.
These investments are boosting production capacity and should secure lead times.

A3 Imprimerie invests in a new cutting table

A3 Imprimerie, which specializes in digital printing in Nîmes in the Gard region of France, recently reinforced its machinery with the installation of a Kongsberg C64 cutting table. This large-format equipment, with a working surface of 3.20 x 3.20 meters, enables the cutting, milling and creasing of a wide range of substrates.

This investment is designed to increase the company's precision, versatility and production capacity, while expanding its range of products for visual communication and signage applications.

New drying cabinet for Aremiag screen printer

Aremiag, a printer specializing in industrial and digital screen printing','www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy');" class="lien-auto-article" href="https://www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy">screen printing, has installed a drying cabinet for screen printing','www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy');" class="lien-auto-article" href="https://www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy">screen printing screens at its Chartres site in the Eure-et-Loir region. Supplied by CPSS, this equipment is designed to improve control of screen drying, streamline production flows and ensure more consistent quality in the preparation of printing forms.

A new plant soon for Sepec Numérique

Sepec Numérique, part of the Sepec group based in Péronnas (Ain), plans to move into a new 6,800 m2 plant in 2026, less than 300 meters from its historic site.
Located on a 2.4-hectare site, this new industrial facility will support the company's growth through optimized flow organization and the integration of new equipment.
The transfer of Sepec Numérique will also free up space at the group's historic site, opening up new development prospects for the offset business.

Avenir Communication expands its facilities

Avenir Communication, an agency specializing in personalized media objects, business gifts and gourmet gift sets, inaugurated a 500 m2 logistics extension at its Longué-Jumelles site in the Maine-et-Loire region last month, according to the company Ouest France .
Managed by Vanessa and Johan Duchesne, the company employs around 30 people and generates sales of around 10 million euros.

This extension is dedicated to logistics and customer service. It optimizes storage, speeds up order preparation, reinforces quality control and supports the development of e-shops and digital catalogs. The site now totals 2,400 m2, including 1,100 m2 dedicated to logistics.
