ePac installs the first HP Indigo 200K in France

In February, HP announced an agreement with American flexible packaging manufacturer ePac for the installation of more than ten HP Indigo 200K presses at the converter's North American and European sites. One of these ten presses has been installed in France: ePac Flexible Packaging in Bourgoin-Jallieu, in the Isère region of France, becomes the first site in France to install an HP Indigo 200K press.

This press is expected to increase productivity by 45%.
Jonathan Schmitt, President of ePac Lyon, comments: "By investing in our Lyon site, we are strengthening our ability to serve our customers with speed, efficiency and consistent quality, while supporting sustainability through digital printing technologies."

LP2i Étiquettes now prints directly on adhesive

LP2i Étiquettes, based in Carros in the Alpes-Maritimes region of France, has modified its multilayer label manufacturing process with installation of a hybrid line for direct printing on adhesive.
Commissioned a year ago, the configuration combines a Domino N730i 7-color inkjet press, a K600i monochrome module, a DCL2 converting and finishing station from Grafotronic, and a Lake Image Systems inspection system.
Direct-to-adhesive printing, made possible in particular by the K600i module, reduces unwinding and rewinding operations in booklet label production. The monochrome module can also print variable data and 2D codes.
