The two Tour publishers will remain independent, while implementing technical, administrative and financial synergies

Graphics industry software publisher Volume Software is now the majority shareholder of treeDiM, a cardboard packaging design software publisher.

The publishers, both based in Tours in the Indre-et-Loire region, address themselves to "largely the same customer" and propose "totally complementary offers" says Volume Software.

Volume Software offers ERP solutions for packaging and graphic printing. It generates a quarter of its sales outside France. It is the designer of the ERP VoluPack for the cardboard industry, VoluPrim for the printing industry and the production planning management software Direct Planning.

TreeDim publishes software specialized in CAD development and product lifecycle management for the packaging, POP logistics and digital printing industries, including Picador software and the PLMPack eco-design platform. Based in France, the company is also present in over 55 countries.

The two companies will remain autonomous while implementing technical, administrative and financial synergies. Alain Nobre, founding director of treeDiM, will remain in the group as a minority partner.

Jean-Christophe Orsoni, CEO of Volume Software, states: "This combination is in line with the development strategy defined at the time of the acquisition of Volume Software four years ago, which combines strong organic growth and external growth in related areas." .
