The Daddy Kate Group continues its strategy of expansion in France with the announcement of its sixth acquisition, Imprimerie Pacaud, based in Coudekerque-Branche, near Dunkirk in the Nord region. Previously owned by Patrick Liefooghe, the printing company employs 15 people and has sales of 2.5 million euros.
Production will shortly be transferred to the Daddy Kate France site in Libercourt (Pas-de-Calais), about an hour's drive away, created by the merger of three companies in 2020. A sales unit will remain on site.
For Thijs Claes, General Manager of the family-owned group: "With the integration of Imprimerie Pacaud into our group, we are taking a new step in our history of growth in France. (...) Our geographic expansion is a deliberate strategy that supports our long-term vision".
Patrick Liefooghe, who will continue to play an active role, points out that customers will not lose their bearings: " Our customers keep their usual contacts." The printer believes that this merger will give them access to "to a much wider range of services" while guaranteeing "a stable future for our team" .
The Belgium-based Daddy Kate Group, founded in 1978, has grown through a series of acquisitions - 16 in all, including six in France with Imprimerie Pacaud. Daddy Kate is active in offset, digital, large-format printing and finishing services, and now has seven independent companies, with a total workforce of 300 and sales of 75 million euros.
In 2024, it acquired no less than three companies ( ICR in Belgium, Imprimerie Moutier in Northern France and imprimerie Daniel Faurite near Lyon ).
