Le Sanglier Packaging joins Inessens

Inessens takes over Le Sanglier Packaging. The deal raises sales from ?60 to ?75 million and the workforce from 255 to 290.

The year is off to a flying start for Le Sanglier Packaging. The company, based in Charleville-Mézières in the Ardennes, is turning a new page in its history by integrating Inessens.

The printing works thus brings its expertise in the printing and finishing of folding cartons for the champagne, wine and spirits sectors to the Inessens group, which specializes mainly in labels.

"Integration within the Inessens Group will enable us to strengthen our position, benefit from new synergies and new opportunities, while retaining what makes us who we are and our strength with our stakeholders." says Jean-François Aertgeets, general manager and founder of Sanglier Packaging.

With this new acquisition, Inessens, based in Montreal (Aude, France), now has 10 subsidiaries and sales of ?75 million, up from ?60 million. The number of employees has risen by 35 to 290.

According to Eric Groshens, president and founder of Inessens, "this operation will create the conditions for solid, sustainable and profitable growth for all our stakeholders, because, in addition to increasing our size and sales, this merger makes perfect sense in terms of the complementary nature of our companies' businesses and expertise"

The executive adds: "The new entity will create an even more comprehensive and high-quality offering for our customers."
