swissQprint, a recognized leader in UV LED flatbed printers, celebrates the sale of its 2000th machine. This Nyala model, the benchmark in Europe since 2015, was delivered to SuperGraphics, a Seattle-based American company specializing in advertising solutions.

Since the launch of the Oryx in 2008, swissQprint has made its mark on the market by providing durable, reliable printing solutions. With over 400 machines still in operation after more than 10 years, the robustness of swissQprint printers is undeniable. The Nyala 4, swissQprint's flagship model, has been the best-selling machine in its class in Europe since 2015. It boasts a maximum resolution of 1350 dpi, and a productivity of 206 m²/h, ideal for high-quality production across multiple workstations. "What makes the Nyala so successful is the combination of superior print quality, extensive multifunctionality, and unrivalled efficiency," explains Carmen Eicher, Sales & Marketing Director.
Advanced printhead technology and ultra-precise ink droplet placement enable the Nyala to meet the high demands of printers, particularly in the production of high-end visual communication media. What's more, swissQprint models offer a modular configuration that enables tailoring to the specific needs of each user, with up to 9 customizable ink channels.
A constantly evolving range
swissQprint has constantly innovated and perfected its product range to meet the varied expectations of the market. "Our current range includes six flatbed printers and two roll-to-roll models, tailored to the different needs of our customers," continues Carmen Eicher. Each machine, from the beginner-friendly Oryx 4 to the productivity champion Nyala 4S, is equipped with the patented Tip Switch Vacuum system. This innovative system, comprising 256 individually adjustable vacuum segments, guarantees optimum grip on substrates of all sizes, eliminating air leaks and the need for time-consuming masking.
Exemplary energy and environmental performance
When it comes to environmental friendliness, swissQprint stands out for its energy-efficient LED drying systems, which comply with Fogra PSD and ISO 20690:2018 standards. The printers use UV inks with no volatile solvents (VOCs) and Greenguard Gold certification, guaranteeing safe use in sensitive environments such as schools and hospitals. These solutions enable swissQprint to offer printers with a low ecological footprint, while maintaining high productivity and low operating costs.
