Lecta's self-adhesive division goes independent

Lecta confirms the demerger of its self-adhesives division, which will become Lecta Self-Adhesives España as of January 1, 2025. This reorganization aims to optimize the company's specialization and efficiency.

Lecta, a major player in specialty and functional papers, has taken a further step in its strategy of specialization by announcing the creation of Lecta Self-Adhesives España. This new entity, operational from January 1, 2025, will take over the self-adhesive activities hitherto handled by Torraspapel, one of the Group's historic divisions. This choice reflects a desire to optimize and adapt to the growing demands of the market.

The separation of the self-adhesive unit enables Lecta to better focus its priorities. By transferring all assets and commercial agreements relating to this sector to Lecta Self-Adhesives España, the company hopes not only to improve profitability, but also to enhance production and management efficiency. It also opens up opportunities for greater customization of the offering to specific customer needs.

Headquartered in Barcelona, the new structure inherits all Torraspapel's commitments to its business partners. Lecta asserts that this transition will have no impact on service quality or customer satisfaction. On the contrary, the reorganizations should enable us to optimize internal processes and offer an even more competitive product range.

This split has been designed to limit any disruption to existing business relationships. Lecta's teams, and in particular its sales teams, will be on hand to support customers during this transition. Particular attention is being paid to communication to ensure a smooth adaptation to the new organization

The creation of Lecta Self-Adhesives España marks a key stage in the strategy initiated by the group in recent years, with a gradual refocusing on its various specialties. Following the restructuring of its distribution network in southern Europe, Lecta is continuing in this direction by separating its activities to better meet market expectations.
