At Hunkeler InnovationDays, currently taking place in Switzerland, master manufacturer Hunkeler is presenting the Gen8 Evo for the first time. Designed for intensive production environments, this new roll-to-stack cutting line transforms pre-printed reels into stacks of sheets.
With production speeds of up to 180 m/min, the Gen8 Evo handles a wide variety of roll media from 40 to 300 g/m² 2 and widths from 203 to 584 mm.
This line offers stacking heights of up to 254 mm and formats ranging from 127 to 762 mm.
The Gen8 Evo's controls are based on a control screen that enables operators to react quickly to production needs.
In addition to its technical performance, the Gen8 Evo features a rethought industrial design compared to the previous model in the Gen8 line, integrating a lighting system for improved legibility of operations in progress. This feature makes it easier to monitor production cycles and helps reduce downtime.
Various options can be added, such as a bleed module, control systems or a dynamic perforator.
