On June 26, 2025, the Board of Directors of Fespa France elected Hugues Malhère as Chairman for a three-year term. The Nantes-born Hugues Malhère, founder of the 20-salary Ad'Hoc Media company specializing in signage, adhesives and digital printing, succeeds Julia Nojac, who spent five years at the helm of the organization, which represents some 500 French visual communications companies.
Under the presidency of Julia Nojac, the organization was distinguished by several structuring advances: the merger of Fespa France with the e-Visions union the aim is to boost the attractiveness of the trades, raise their profile with public authorities and step up promotional initiatives.
Ecodesign "but not only
Hugues Malhère has been a member of Fespa for two decades, and served for five years as Chairman of the Ecodesign Commission. He is keen to ensure continuity, but also to broaden the scope of his mandate. "I am determined to continue and strengthen current initiatives, while introducing new strategies to meet the future challenges of our sector and our trades, particularly in terms of the ecological transition, but not only." he declared.
The new Chairman is also involved in a number of other professional networks. In addition to his involvement with Fespa France, he has chaired or participated in a number of local organizations, including the Centre des jeunes dirigeants (CJD), the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Nant'Est Entreprises. He prides himself on a culture of co-construction and an ability to build consensus within heterogeneous groups.
At the helm of Fespa, he aims to promote "shared vision to unite visual communication professionals "around concrete, useful projects" signage, digital printing, digital media, installation and branding. He also stresses the importance of collegial decision-making and the structuring role of the Board of Directors.
Hugues Malhère will set out the roadmap for his term of office at the next Board meeting, scheduled for October.
