Four months after being placed in receivership, Aubin Imprimeur has been granted a further extension. At a hearing on June 5, the Poitiers Commercial Court decided to renew its observation period until February 2, 2027.
For the printing works based in Ligugé in the Vienne region of France, which prints the Pléiade collection as well as catalogs for industrial groups, high-end magazines and books for the Odile Jacob publishing house, this decision was a major blow "testifies to the smooth running of the proceedings since they were initiated, and to the trust placed in the work carried out by the company alongside the court-appointed administrator, the mandataire judiciaire and all stakeholders" .
"Thanks to the involvement of its employees" despite the proceedings, Aubin Imprimeur continues to produce normally. "Orders are honored, deliveries are assured and commitments to customers and suppliers are fully respected" emphasizes the company, which has been run by Hugues Montézin since 2013. "This operational stability is essential to the success of the observation period."
Last March, at an interim hearing, the court had already authorized the continuation of the observation period. At the time, the printing works, which employs 95 people, explained that its sales would fall by more than 40% between 2022 and 2025.
Aubin Imprimeur considers that the new deadline granted by the court gives it "the necessary time" to prepare "a solid, viable recovery plan" .
The next known deadline is now February 2, 2027.
