StickerGreen is replacing PVC with a recyclable PET-based adhesive
StickerGreen is launching a new generation of stickers made from recycled PET, replacing traditional PVC.
The company, based in Jarnac in the Charente region and founded in 2022, developed this material, whose printable surface and liner are both made of PET. This design makes it possible to recycle the scraps generated during cutting, unlike traditional stickers that combine a PVC film with a silicone-coated paper liner.
This new substrate contains 58% recycled material, is PVC-free, and has an outdoor durability of up to seven years. Its liner is also four times lighter than a conventional paper liner. According to the company?s own analyses, this technology reduces CO2 emissions by up to 60% compared to a PVC adhesive, a finding that is currently undergoing independent validation.
The Charente-based company, which has four employees, reports that it sold more than 150%E2euros%89000 in adhesives in the first half of 2026 and now hopes to expand this product line into the European market.
