After changed its dates and moved from Paris Nord Villepinte to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Allforpack Emballage Paris outlines the details of its 2027 edition. Organized by Comexposium, the event?which will take place from Tuesday, June 29, through Thursday, July 1, and attracted more than 24,000 industry professionals at its previous edition?will cover four major areas: packaging and materials, design and printing, machinery and packaging, and intralogistics and transportation.
Industry-specific tracks and targeted meetings
The organizer, Comexposium, plans, in particular, to structure the visitor experience around industry-specific routes. This approach is designed to guide industry professionals toward exhibitors and technologies relevant to their business, given that the trade show covers a wide range of industries and end-user markets.
The 2027 edition will also feature Business Meetings. These targeted meetings are designed to connect visitors and exhibitors based on their business activities and needs. A web app and a personalized appointment scheduling system will also allow professionals to plan their visit and schedule in advance of the trade show. The Business+ program, meanwhile, will be reserved for major buyers.
Three new themed areas
Allforpack will also feature three areas dedicated to technical, environmental, and regulatory changes in the packaging industry.
Called "Creative Breakthroughs," the first event will bring together startups, designers, and brands to explore new uses, formats, and approaches to packaging, particularly through design, technology, and sustainability issues.
Re-Génération will address resource efficiency, circularity, traceability, reuse, and logistics.
The third section, ?Matières à Penser,? will focus on the materials used in packaging: plastic, paper and cardboard, metal, glass, and alternative materials. It will address issues such as recyclability, traceability, and environmental impact.
These topics must, in particular, address the new regulatory requirements facing manufacturers and users, including the European regulation on packaging and packaging waste, the PPWR.
From Paris Talks to industrial demonstrations
The conference program is also evolving. The Pack Expert Committee will organize the Paris Talks, focusing on topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), biomimicry, PPWR, and reuse. Comexposium is also announcing an annual industry survey.
These new features complement the changes already announced in June. At that time, Allforpack had indicated its intention to devote more space to equipment in operation in order to put industrial demonstrations back at the heart of the event. The organizer also hopes to increase the presence of decision-makers, buyers, and specifiers from French-speaking markets.
Allforpack Emballage Paris 2027 also enjoys the patronage of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance, and Industrial, Energy, and Digital Sovereignty.
