Heidelberg: Several Million Euros in Orders at the All in Print China Trade Show

Heidelberg left the All in Print China 2026 trade show with a full order book. The Chinese market alone accounted for half of the orders placed during the show.

Heidelberg secured orders totaling more than 10 million euros at the All in Print China 2026 trade show, which took place in Shanghai, China, from October 12 to 16. Half of these orders came from Chinese customers. The contracts cover sheetfed offset presses as well as digital printing, software, automation, and services.

Notable among the sales was an offset press equipped with 9 color units, a coating module, an intermediate drying unit, and an additional color unit. This Speedmaster CX 104-9+LY-1 was ordered by Maidian Printing, a major printer of packaging, manuals, and labels that employs more than 500 people in China.

During the trade show, which drew 220,000 visitors, Heidelberg welcomed thousands of visitors to its booth, including approximately 200 international customers, particularly from Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.

"The high number of international visitors and the significant investments made during and around the trade show confirm both the confidence in our technologies and the importance of China to Heidelberg's long-term development." , says David Schmedding, Heidelberg's sales director.

At its booth, Heidelberg devoted significant space to packaging production, hybrid printing combining offset and digital technologies, postpress processing, and workflow automation.

In particular, the manufacturer organized presentations in a space called the Heidelberg Cinema, which welcomed approximately 9,000 visitors. The maintenance and support services offered by Manroland Sheetfed were also part of the program.

Alongside the trade show, customers toured Heidelberg's Shanghai plant and its Print Media Center.

According to Heidelberg, China is not only one of the world's largest printing markets, but it is also emerging as a major hub of innovation for modern production and automation solutions.
"China is one of Heidelberg's most important markets worldwide and will remain so in the future, says Benny Huang, president of Heidelberg China. "The All in Print trade show has impressively demonstrated that the Chinese printing industry continues to invest and is constantly adopting modern production concepts."
