Printer Sÿnia obtains the Lucie label

The company is the first commercial printer to obtain this label.

The printer Sÿnia obtained at the beginning of November, after an audit carried out by Bureau Veritas, the Lucie label. The company is the first commercial printer to obtain this label. Sÿnia specializes in doming and produces its products from A to Z: printing, cutting, resin deposition and finishing.

A label focused on social responsibility (CSR)

The aim of the Lucie label is to train organisations in sustainable development by providing them with the necessary tools. Tools aligned with the standard
international standard for social responsibility, ISO 26000.

The printer Sÿnia, based in Lavérune in the south of France, explains that it has invested in recent years to integrate more ecological solutions into its manufacturing process, but also into its social life.

"?Nous are the only domeurs to be labeled Imprim'Vert since 2015, we use reusable cups, we recycle our paper and cardboard waste with the company Sud Recyclage in Saint-Georges d'Orques and we even go so far as to recycle our employees' cigarette butts with Eco-Mégot. We are also starting to use biodégradables? packaging, explains Sylvain Maillard, the leader of Sÿnia.

Taking into account the societal aspects of the company

The ISO standard 26?000 evaluates not only environmental performance, but also economic and societal attributes of the company.

"?Alors that a few years ago this was unimaginable, we have managed to find solutions to meet the demands of our employees. The implementation of teleworking for certain positions, the arrangement of schedules for people with duplicate jobs. Or even recruitment by AFPR (Action de Formation Préalable au Recrutement), the implementation of internal and external training courses according to the professional objectives that the various employees wish to achieve, the reception of numerous trainees from different backgrounds and of all ages, etc.?» enthused the leader.
