Visitors to Fespa Global Print Expo 2020 will be able to see the world's best covering professionals at work during the World Wrap Masters 2020. And there are a number of small innovations on the programme of the international competition organised by the Federation of Professional Printing Associations Fespa.
"To keep the competition original and surprising, we're introducing a new scoring system and creative articles that will encourage candidates to draw on their originality and abilities ", explains Kiss Lajos, two-time Wrap Masters World Champion (2014 and 2015) and President of the Jury.
Throughout the trade fair dedicated to screen, textile and digital printing, from Tuesday 24th to Friday 27th March at IFEMA in Madrid, Spain, the selected participants will compete for the title of World Wrap Master 2020.
On March 24th and 25th, around 30 competitors will take part in the World Wrap Masters Europe, the final qualifying event to compete for the world's best dresser title. And places are still available to participate in this session.
During these two days, participants will be judged on their vehicle dressing skills in a multi-session timed event.
Then, on 26 and 27 March 2020, the winner and three runners-up from this European competition, as well as those from other world selections, will compete for the supreme title.
Competitors will have to show their talent in vehicle wrapping, but also, as a novelty, on items that will be specified during the event.
The 2020 World Wrap Masters Series champion will be announced on March 27th at 1pm.
The Fespa competition will also feature a new logo, more representative of the creative world of convering, designed by Ben Allen, an artist specialising in graffiti and pop art prints.
"The World Wrap Masters will be one of the most energetic and eye-catching events of the Fespa Global Print Expo 2020, enthused Neil Felton, CEO of Fespa. An event visitors shouldn't miss!"
