The jury of the Antalis Interior Design competition has given its verdict: from among 535 creations from 24 countries, it has chosen the most audacious projects in the world of personalised decoration. For this second edition, 11 creations by designers, interior architects and printers - two of them French - were awarded prizes in this competition organised by paper distributor Antalis.

Mural painting Youse City from the Parégrine workshop (France)
Youse, a young player in real estate insurance, has chosen to embellish its offices and customize the walls to highlight its identity.
Created by the interior design agency Parégrine, five digitally printed murals were created specifically for Youse. Each desk has its own decor, representing each room of an apartment: a living room, a veranda, a super design office.

The jury felt that this project perfectly meets the needs of today's customers when considering their workspace: to feel as good at work as they do at home. They particularly appreciated the mural that highlights all employees.
Decoration of three offices by studio Zachart (Poland)
Alchemia is the largest office park in the Polish Tri-city region near the Baltic Sea. Studio Zachart carried out the interior design of three offices. Each of them shows how unique each project is.


The decoration made with a textile effect wall covering refers to the origin, country, landscape or any other characteristic of the customer to make the employees feel good at work.

The jury appreciated the decorative power of these projects and the contrast with the outside world. "The power of decoration is to transport people to another world and this is a good example!"

Back to school for Zadig & Voltaire with the Exhibit Group printing company (France)
The French high-end ready-to-wear brand Zadig & Voltaire called on Exhibit Group, located in Carros in the Alpes-Maritimes, to design its back-to-school campaign.
More than a hundred stores had to be decorated simultaneously throughout Europe. Relying on a surprising and offbeat effect, the brand chose to stage strange insects on the windows and walls of its stores executed by Exhibit Group thanks to a removable vinyl.

The jury appreciated the choice of the material which made it possible to simultaneously decorate a chain of stores, outdoors, all over Europe without the need for a professional fitter. They found this choice of Exhibit "clever".

The project El Retiro Invade El Nino Jesus by the decoration studio Trama (Spain)
Trama carried out the decoration of the Niño Jesús paediatric hospital in Madrid, which was old and cold. This creation imagined by the architecture studio is conceived as a walk in the nearby park of El Retiro (hence the name of the project).

The floor, ceilings, lighting and walls are all decorated. The different spaces have been separated by wooden thresholds or doors with trees, which refer to the different areas of the park. The walls are decorated with printed vinyl and covered with a protective film. The ceiling has been covered with personalized wallpaper, showing a sky.

The jury loved this project, both for its overall aesthetics and the cause it supports.

Bloom Apartment from Alderaminro Studio (Romania)
The owner of this apartment wanted an elegant atmosphere that would let nature in. The designers proposed a contemporary decor, with light colours enhanced by material effects on the walls, mixing wallpaper and paint. The creation of a personalized wallpaper for a client is now possible and accessible thanks to digital printing.

Jury members appreciated the overall harmony of this project. "Furniture, materials, colors, lighting, plants have been carefully chosen to create a peaceful living space."

Sugamour by myWall Printing and Design Studio IDizaina (Lithuania)
Sugamour is a sophisticated dessert shop in Kaunas, Lithuania. The walls and ceilings have been covered with laminated wallpaper. The restorer appreciated the resistance and washability of this material. The application of the wallpaper directly on the walls and ceiling made the installation much easier.

The refinement and elegance of the project seduced the jury. The decoration of the ceiling and walls offers an immersive experience to the client who will disconnect and enjoy a real break.
Design and production of wallpaper for Fred's Kitchen by Bull Creative (Netherlands)
Fred's Kitchen is a trendy restaurant in Amsterdam. The designers at Bull CreativeR wanted to give this restaurant a street atmosphere that matches the industrial environment of the neighbourhood.
The size of the walls provided the opportunity to create a gigantic mural fresco and digital printing made it possible to print this work in real size.

And they chose a wallpaper with a textured effect reminiscent of leather.
The originality of the design, the bright colours and the gigantic fresco were praised by the jury.

The Wabi Beauty Centre by Triform Neon KFT Printing Company (Hungary)
The owner of the Hungarian Wabi Beauty Center came up with the idea to stage her family members on the walls, to have fun and to create an original and offbeat decor. She wanted the effect of a large, continuous collage running all over the wall. The printer, Triform Neon KFT, opted for a printable textile to create a fresco 14 metres wide and 3 metres high.

"This project has a wow! There is no doubt that this brilliant theatricalization of the hairdressing space will help to attract and retain customers. We've never seen such well-decorated hairdressing spaces", said the jury members.

Skyline by RB Architects (Poland)
For this apartment decoration project, the design agency RB Architects opted for dark colours, wood tones and multiple lighting accessories to create a warm and refined atmosphere.

The interior films were chosen to perfectly imitate natural materials such as wood and stone, and applied to walls and certain objects, such as book shelves and kitchen furniture.

The jury felt that the project showcased a new type of material, interior films, for a truly astonishing result.
Price of the 3D project on white model

Gertruda Ravluseviciute's waterfall from Vilnius College of technologies and design (Lithuania)
Students from the Lithuanian higher education institution participated in the competition and had to create sets based on the white 3D model.
Gertruda Ravluseviciute, 20 years old, is the winner of the category.

"Waterfalls all over the world are known for their power and beauty. The world of work is demanding, requiring strength and perseverance. Working in a very evocative environment like Cascade will help you find your rhythm... and you can believe for a moment that you are somewhere else and listen to the sound of nature." she explains.
The jury appreciated the strength of the visual.

Decoration of the MRI department of the Heim Pal Hospital by Triform Neon KFT printing company
For the new MRI department at the Heim Pal Children's Hospital, a unique environment inspired by the North Pole has been created for children who need to relax before medical examinations. In this project, the Triform Neon KFT printing company covered the scanner with a printed PVC film, applied with a hot air gun to turn the MRI into an igloo.
Berta Judit, the designer, then created a coordinated decor for the walls of this space.

After the opening of this service, the printer's Facebook page received more than 40,000 likes. To this day, they still receive testimonials from hospital staff, designers, parents, friends and more. "So it's not surprising that this project got the most Likes with 7530 votes on our website" notes the jury.
