A new president at the head of the IMG

Gilles Mure-Ravaud

The new president of the employers' organisation for communication and printing wants to change the union's representation and foresight policy and develop training.

Following its annual general meeting held on Wednesday, June 24, the Groupement des métiers de l'imprimerie (GMI) elected its new president. Christophe Lartigue, co-director of the Lestrade printing works located in Cenon in the Gironde region, has been replaced by Gilles Mure-Ravaud, who since 2014 has been deputy managing director of CPI France, Europe's leading book printing group.

Gilles Mure-Ravaud has given himself several missions including "the repositioning of the union's (professional and inter-professional) representation and prospective policy", indicates the national employers' organization for communication and printing. "This will also lead to a revitalization of the regional delegations with several annual meetings in the field."

The new president also intends to develop training in the printing and communication sectors. "Faced with the evolution of professions and the difficulties in filling certain jobs, he intends that the IMG plays a major role in improving the match between the training offered and the profiles sought by printers."

And the new board of directors, in addition to developing services for members, wants to revitalize Print In France, the label it launched in 2013. This approach to print in France will be one of the subjects of the GMI congress on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Paris.

The new IMG office is composed of :
Fabrice Pennec (Cartor Printing Security), Vice President
Nadia Khéyari (Fem Offset), Treasurer
Nassib Kazma (Axiom Graphic), National Secretary
