Guillaume Le Jeune is the President and Serge Bardy, former MP, is the Treasurer.

On September 11th, the Culture Papier association renewed its governance. The new president is now Guillaume Le jeune, elected for three years. He succeeds Pierre Barki. And a former member of parliament, Serge Bardy, has joined the association, becoming treasurer replacing Muriel Caniez.

On this occasion, the association for the defence of paper reaffirmed its missions of societal interest to enhance the ecosystem of a natural, ecological and cultural resource.

The new president of Culture Papier, Guillaume Le Jeune, has nearly 30 years of experience in the paper industry. He has worked for some of Europe's largest groups: the distributor Arjomari-Diffusion of the Arjowiggins group, then the paper manufacturer UPM and now Stora Enso, for which he has been in charge of the Paper Division for France since 2014.

"While the covid is installing a kind of digital evidence, it's about changing mentalities about the future of paper, said the President. To claim the best of print and digital in the general interest, for a complementarity according to the use and duration of use, to optimize the effectiveness of communication and memorization, as demonstrated by numerous cognitive studies"

He also wishes to advocate "an indispensable energy sobriety, rather than a "utopian dematerialization"." . The association will also defend the place of cellulosic solutions in front of the "Invasive plastic." and "promote a genuine digital Human Right that respects the protection of individual and democratic freedoms, portability and security of personal data..."

The new treasurer of Culture Papier, Serge Bardy, has a 35-year career in industry, from automotive to computer science.
He is the former deputy of Maine-et-Loire and regional delegate of the Pays de la Loire region of Culture Papier. He is also the author of a parliamentary report, published in 2014, entitled From collaborative intelligence to the circular economy: France, land of the future for the paper industry .
In this 350-page dossier, he proposed 34 projects to develop recycling and strengthen the paper industry.

"We must promote the performance of one of the most resilient sectors in the circular economy: promote CSR in the ecosystem of imprimé?; from eco-design to sorting and recycling, and publicize the environmental labels of the sector that are essential for advertisers and consumers alike: FSC, PEFC for forest management, ImprimVert and PrintEthic for printing, CSR-labelled by Afnor" he said.
