Faguier Print & Pack celebrates its 40th anniversary

Despite the health crisis, the printing works has prepared several surprises for its customers, partners and suppliers.

Faguier Print & Pack in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne (53) is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this September anniversaire?! To celebrate this event - despite the health context - the company is organising several virtual events, including a competition for its customers, partners and suppliers (to be discovered on the printer's website).

Founded in 1980 by Serge Faguier and his wife Paule, the printing works was taken over in 2018 by two former employees, Stéphane Mignot and Pierrick Lemarchand, after the founder's retirement. They have since been joined by Denis Auguste, Director of the Packaging-Associated Design Office.

Today, the three partners are at the head of a company with 17 employees and a turnover of 2.5 million euros. Their areas of activity include offset printing for corporate and local authority communications, large-format printing on all media for events, digital printing and packaging.

A few key dates in the history of the printing industry

Initially a letterpress printer, Faguier switched to offset in 1982 with the acquisition of a Rotaprint R30/95 press. In 1990, the printing works hired 4 new employees, and acquired a Roland 201 press (52x74 1 colour) as well as its first Apple Macintosh computer.

In 1998, the printing company switched to 4-colour printing with a Ryobi 3304 (36x52) press and purchased a large-format digital plotter. At the time it was the third one in the West. In 2008, the production site was expanded to 1?500 m2. In 2016, the company develops the packaging activity with the integration of a specialized design office.
