The last sheets of the calendar are becoming scarce, the year is coming to an end. Before the year 2020 finally comes to an end, let's take a last look at the pretty calendar made by Imprimerie Chauvat Bertau (ICB).
The printing company located in Pontcarré in the Paris region has imagined and produced a round calendar which presents a different paper support and a particular printing technique each month. This calendar called La Ronde fleurie is illustrated with drawings of flowers, trees, leaves and fruits by the painter Inès Benoteau.

The 12 flowery pages, the cover and its cardboard insert are bound with an elegant gilded brass Chicago screwdriver. The pages are pre-cut to show the following month and to preserve the visuals.

The entire calendar was made with paper from the print shop. Over the course of the months, different textured papers, soft touch paper, matt coated paper, Conqueror Contour or SendMe in mandarin colour were used. The days and illustrations are highlighted thanks to digital gilding, hot stamping on Ofmi, blue, red, silver, or digital printing in white..

The light cover is a Curious Matter Adiron Blue paper printed in offset with Pantone silver 877 and Pantone gold 871.
The month of November with its pumpkin is presented thanks to a digital print on Sirio Pearl Ice White pearl paper in 300 g/m² 2 .
And the month of December reserves a hot stamping in three shades of black, orange and green on Chromolux mirror paper.
