Know-how / English style cardboard boxes with hot stamping and matt lamination

For the British perfume house Penhaligon, Cosfibel imagined a box with a cut-out decoration glued on the sides of the box to simulate a truck of the time.

For the holiday season, the British perfume house Penhaligon has launched a collection of collector's boxes. The design of these resolutely British-style boxes has been entrusted to Cosfibel, a group specialized in luxury packaging, especially boxes and cases. The model of this packaging for Quercus eau de Cologne consists of a cut-out decoration with a cardboard frame.

Cardboard carcass and wedge made of RPET

"?Sur At the base of a simple cardboard carcass, base and lid, Cosfibel played the subtlety of a die-cut decoration glued on the side faces of the box to simulate a truck of the time. These printed motifs are underlined by an elegant hot stamping and protected by a lamination mat?" details the company.

In the trend towards an eco-responsible design, in addition to the choice of cardboard as raw material, the shim inserted inside has been made of transparent RPET in the shape of the bottle. RPET means the recycling of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which comes largely from the food industry (water bottles, etc.).

Cosfibel underlines having played a role in this achievement "?la meticulous hand-made collages and the protection of structures at every stage, from creation to logistics.?»

Present on four continents with 20 locations and 200 employees, Cosfibel's sales in 2018 will reach USD 90 million. The group designs multi-material boxes and cases (metal, cardboard, wood, plastic...) for customers in the luxury universe.
