Hexis opens a new training center (59) for the application of self-adhesive films

The adhesive film manufacturer offers training courses from one to eight days for beginners and professionals.

In order to meet demand, Hexis inaugurated a new training center in January, located near Lille in the Nord region. France's only adhesive film manufacturer opened its first school in 2001 at the group's headquarters in Frontignan, Hérault, and today more than 350 people benefit from these courses each year.

These two centres, one in the North and the other in the South of France, provide training in the techniques of applying and printing adhesive films for interior decoration, vitrophany, covering or signage.
They are aimed at both visual communication and automotive professionals looking to improve their skills and those wishing to start in the trade of fitter.

The courses take place over one to eight days, depending on the programme chosen, and always in small groups of no more than four people. In the vehicle covering category, for example, beginners will learn, in five days, how to apply the adhesive to the vehicle, starting with an application of the film on a flat surface, then on volume surfaces (such as bumpers). For those in the trade, they will reinforce, in one day, their technique of applying film to difficult areas such as concave parts like door handles.
