New general delegate at Seila

The Syndicat de l'emballage industriel et de la logistique associée (Seila) announces the arrival of Sélim Denoyelle as General Delegate.
He took up his new post last month, working in tandem with Véronique Vlahakis, the current General Secretary, to ensure a gradual handover of responsibilities. Véronique Vlahakis is due to retire in May 2026.

Konica Minolta appoints two new heads of industrial printing in Europe

Konica Minolta has announced two major appointments effective April 1, 2025. Toshitaka Uemura, who was vice-president of the Japanese group, takes over as head of the Industrial Printing division for Europe, while Kentaro Itamoto (who was general manager of the Corporate Planning division at Konica Minolta) becomes president of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe, succeeding Kiyotaka Suhara.

These changes in governance come at a time of strategic expansion for the Group in the industrial printing segment, with in particular the launch of the accurioJet 60000 high-production UV sheetfed inkjet press unveiled at Drupa 2024, and sustained growth in digital label printing alongside MGI Digital Technology.

Management change at Metsä Board

Metsä Board, a subsidiary of the Finnish Metsä Group specializing in virgin fiberboard, announces a change of management effective April 7, 2025.
After more than ten years at the head of the Group, Mika Joukio will step down as CEO, in accordance with a joint decision by the Board of Directors. He will nevertheless accompany the transition phase until October 2025.
To succeed him, the Board has appointed Esa Kaikkonen, currently Metsä Group Strategy Director. Kaikkonen, who has been with Metsa for 27 years, has held positions including CEO of Metsä Tissue, Director of Metsä Wood and Group General Counsel.
Under the leadership of Mika Joukio, Metsä Board has embarked on a number of major industrial projects, including the modernization of the Husum and Kemi sites, as well as a vast worksite currently underway at Simpele.

Nicolas Wiedmann (Siegwerk) takes over as head of EuPIA

Nicolas Wiedmann, Managing Director of German ink manufacturer Siegwerk Druckfarben, was appointed President of EuPIA at the annual conference of the association which, since 2003, has represented European printing ink manufacturers within the European Council of the Artists' Paints, Inks and Colours Industry (CEPE). With this two-year mandate, he succeeds Mehran Yazdani, President of manufacturer Sun Chemical, who was thanked for his role during a period marked by major regulatory changes.
Heiner Klokkers, CEO of Flint Group Publications and Packaging Ink Europe, becomes Vice-President.

Hendrik De Hertogh takes over as CEO of Everteam Software

Kyocera Document Solutions appoints Hendrik De Hertogh as head of Everteam Software, in addition to his current role as Managing Director of Kyocera Document Solutions France. He succeeds Annie Thieulent, who is retiring after a 35-year career.
Everteam, acquired by Kyocera in 2020, has been developing software solutions integrating archiving and artificial intelligence technologies for almost 30 years.
The joint management of the two entities aims to build bridges between their offerings, while retaining their operational independence.
Hendrik De Hertogh's mission is to structure these synergies to support companies in managing and securing their documents, from production to archiving.

Riccobono Group's Proximy appoints Chaker Challal as Director of Business Development

Proximy, the logistics unit of the Riccobono Group's distribution division, announces the appointment of Chaker Challal as Director of Business Development.
His arrival is part of a growth strategy aimed at structuring and strengthening the group's distribution business. With a wealth of experience acquired notably at Relais Colis and Chronopost, Chaker Challal will be responsible for identifying new growth drivers and supporting the development of Proximy's activities.

New VP Marketing at Landa, formerly of HP and Highcon

Landa Digital Printing strengthens its management team with the arrival of Simon Lewis, appointed Vice President of Marketing. With over 30 years' experience in the digital printing industry, Simon Lewis will drive the company's global marketing strategy from its headquarters in Rehovot, Israel.
A former HP Indigo and Highcon executive, Simon Lewis has led international product launches and developed campaigns to support emerging printing technologies.
Joining Landa, Simon Lewis is responsible for aligning marketing actions with printers' operational expectations, with a focus on education, technological visibility and supporting customers in exploiting the new-generation high-speed digital press.
