Konica Minolta?s AccurioPro Color Manager (APCM2) has been updated to version 2.3, which focuses on color quality monitoring and data analytics. This update to the color management software integrates AccurioPro CloudEye to centralize measurements, generate reports, and track press performance over time.
Data-Driven Color Management
In this new version, colorimetric measurements are now centralized in the cloud to generate validation reports accessible to both operators and production managers. They can view the performance of each press or each production line, with metrics covering, among other things, color shades, dot gain, and density values.
The measurement history also makes it possible to track performance trends over time and identify any deviations. Reference parameters can be shared among multiple sites or partners to ensure consistent production.
More automated settings
Version 2.3 also includes tools designed to minimize manual intervention. Smart Color Sequence Setup automatically selects the appropriate adjustment process based on the press and controller configuration.
If a validation check fails, Smart Color Sequence Recovery guides the operator through the process of restoring the reference settings.
When used with the IQ-501 and IQ-601 modules, the software also automates calibration and quality control operations.
"This solution allows users to easily achieve professional-quality results. It also reduces downtime and ensures consistent production, without requiring advanced diagnostic or troubleshooting skills." , says Karl-Friedrich Edenhuizen, Product Manager for Color Devices and Product Line Strategy and Management at Konica Minolta Europe.
