New dates for the label fair Labelexpo Europe

The exhibition, which is usually a biennial event, is pushed back to 2022.

Tarsus Group, the organiser of international trade fairs dedicated to label professionals, has announced the new dates of the exhibition to be held in Europe. Labelexpo Europe, which was scheduled to take place in September 2021, will finally take place in Brussels, Belgium at the Brussels Expo Center from Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th April 2022.

"Due to the continuing uncertainty regarding the speed of vaccine deployment in Europe and the ability of our international visitors to reach Brussels, we have taken the decision, in consultation with our exhibitors, to postpone Labelexpo Europe until April 2022" explains Lisa Milburn, Managing Director of Tarsus Labels.

Chris Ellison, President of the European Federation of Finat Labels and Managing Director of the UK group OPM Labels & Packaging, says : "It is definitely the right decision to move Labelexpo Europe to April 2022. We should be back to some sort of normality for international travel and social gatherings."

He goes on to say: "For my part, I can't wait any longer. I miss the hustle and bustle of the aisles of the world's largest label fair, discovering new technologies from suppliers, meeting old friends and making new contacts."

The next edition of Labelexpo Americas will take place from September 13 to 15, 2022 at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, Chicago. And Tarsus also announced a new event covering all areas of label and packaging printing technology and markets, the Label Congress, which will take place from September 29 to October 1, 2021, also at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center.

"Label Congress 2021 will be our first physical gathering for the U.S. label industry since the beginning of the pandemic, says Lisa Milburn. And we're looking forward to the opening event."
