Domino unveils high-speed productivity mode for its N730i label press

Domino's increased speed reduces production times by 22%, while maintaining high label print quality.

At Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025, to be held in Bangkok in May, Domino Printing Sciences will be presenting a new productivity mode for its N730i color inkjet label press. This feature, called High-Speed Productivity Mode, will increase yields by up to 28%, according to the British manufacturer.

With this new mode, print speed rises from 70 to 90 m/min without any change in resolution on the substrates commonly used in self-adhesive labels, thanks to optimized data processing and improved printhead management.

According to figures provided by Domino, this increase in output would reduce production times by around 22% and ink consumption by up to 8%. For an average user, the manufacturer estimates an annual saving of almost 6,000 auros on ink costs.

"By striking the right balance between resolution and line speed, high-speed print mode delivers high-quality results, with no perceptible difference in print quality compared to standard operating mode." assures Domino.

The new productivity mode is available both on new N730i presses and as an upgrade for existing installations. Activating the functionality requires no major hardware modification.
