A new majority shareholder for Alliance Etiquettes

Chaired by Olivier Laulan, Alliance Etiquettes now has 12 production sites.

The Alliance Etiquettes group, specialized in adhesive labels, has changed its majority shareholder. Activa Capital has sold its majority stake to Chequers Capital for 200 million euros.

Specializing in high-end label printing for the wine, spirits, food and cosmetics sectors, the group has pursued a strong external growth policy under the Activa Capital umbrella with nine acquisitions since 2015 and a turnover that has increased from ?8 million to ?70 million.

"The arrival of Chequers Capital will give Alliance Etiquettes the means to achieve its ambition: the pursuit of its growth and consolidation project in France and in Europe said Olivier Laulan, President of Alliance Etiquettes.

For its part, Activa Capital reiterates its confidence in the company and will continue to support it in its development. "Based on our in-depth knowledge of the Group and its market, and convinced of its growth prospects, we have decided to reinvest as minority shareholders via our new ACF IV fund alongside Olivier Laulan and Chequers Capital. We all share Alliance Etiquettes' objective of becoming an undisputed leader in the European label market within five years.»

Alliance Etiquettes now has 12 production sites: Imprimerie Laulan, Imprimerie D3, So Labels, NS Etiquettes, Sud-Est Adhésif, S.F.E.A, Label Imprime, Irisgraphic, Imprimerie Etienne, Etiqu'Adhésif, Applic'Etains and 5 SEPT Etiquettes.

The group's latest acquisition, Etiq'Etains, took place only a few weeks ago. Founded in 1998 and based in Nontron in the Dordogne, Etiq'Etains is positioned in the wine & spirits, food and cosmetics label markets.
