Starting in September 2021, a new graphic design space will be available online to showcase any graphic research projects that could not be completed due to budget constraints or non-selection.

The design association Bora Books, which initiated the process, presents the Zero Waste platform as a tool to unite the profession through French design archives. Some agencies have already shared their essays:

  • atelier Choque Le Goff;
  • FormaBoom;
  • studio Double ;
  • Integral Ruedi Baur.

Zero Waste is collecting mock-ups until July 10 for a first version to be put online in the fall and planned to evolve over time.

The goal of this sharing is to offer a second life to unfinished proposals by unfolding the creative process and a detailed argument about the graphic designer's thinking and choices. This way, clients, institutions, graphic design students and curious people of all kinds have a better understanding of communication work and an inspiring resource.

The stages of progress are generously illustrated and each project is also accompanied by an interview with the agency or the author.

The search is done by clicking directly on the visuals or by selecting one of the 5 categories:

A good idea for graphic designers who are frustrated to see their files fall into oblivion!
