Several sites in France have been in flames in recent days.

Major fire at Eppe Packaging

During the night of Sunday to Monday, a fire broke out in the Eppe Packaging company, located in Sainte-Savine in the Aube region. About fifty firemen intervened to put an end to this important blaze. The flames damaged 5000 of the 9000 m 2 the packaging production site, according to France 3 Régions.
No injuries were reported.

An original fire in the old paper mills of Turckheim

That same day in the late afternoon, a fire destroyed 500 m 2 of the old paper mills of Turckheim in the Haut-Rhin.
It would be mainly a roof fire, according to the information of the newspaper The Alsace . Several fires in this building, sometimes squatted, had been reported during these five years. The origin of this one is suspicious.
Closed in 2011, the paper mill born from the merger of two paper mills had been partially demolished in 2019. The Turckheim paper mills recycled in the years 2000 about 170 000 tons of paper.

10 tons of paper destroyed in a Paprec warehouse

10 days earlier, the premises of a paper, cardboard and plastic sorting center of the Paprec group went up in flames in the middle of the night, reports the newspaper La Dépêche .
Ten tons of paper were destroyed by fire at the Mercuès site in the Lot department. The structure of the building was not damaged and the origin of the fire has not been determined.
