Cognex Releases Two New Versions of its VisionPro Software Line

Two new versions that offer advanced vision tools and tighter integration of Deep Learning.

Cognex Corporation, the global leader in the machine vision industry, has released two new versions of its VisionPro vision software line, VisionPro10.0 and VisionPro Deep Learning 2.0 .

VisionPro 10.0 is announced as a major update to the company's PC platform, offering faster application performance and easier application configuration. VisionPro Deep Learning 2.0 was designed to integrate with VisionPro 10.0 and allow users to mix Deep Learning and traditional vision tools in the same application.

Cognex Corporation manufactures a wide range of image-based products using artificial intelligence techniques. These include machine vision systems, machine vision sensors, and bar code scanners used in factories and distribution centers where they eliminate production and shipping errors.

Advanced tools for precision calibration and inspection applications

Cognex Corporation says new versions of its VisionPro vision software line also feature advanced vision tools for calibration and precision inspection applications.

SmartLine is a hybrid intelligent tool that combines Deep Learning-enhanced line search for complex scenes with accurate position data from traditional vision algorithms. The new VisionPro Deep Learning high precision segmenter is designed for medical and electronic applications requiring accurate measurement of scratches, contamination and other defects.

"eurosAs Deep Learning gains a foothold on the factory floor, we are finding that many applications require more than traditional vision or Deep learning alone they need both for the best solutioneuros." said Joerg Kuechen, Vice President of Vision Products.

"The new VisionPro makes it easier for users to take advantage of the full range of powerful vision technology Cognex to meet new and increasingly complex vision challenges.euros"

Headquartered in the United States, Cognex has shipped more than 2 million image-based products since its founding in 1981.
