GlobalVision is to integrate Esko, the Belgian supplier of solutions for the packaging graphics chain. The two publishers have been working together for some ten years. With this operation, Esko, which belongs to the American Veralto group, strengthens its digital workflows from creation to shelf-ready, by integrating quality control and compliance functions.
Founded in 1990, GlobalVision was one of the pioneers in the world of inspection technology. Today, the Canadian company has become an international leader in digital proofreading. Its technology can compare different versions of files and detect discrepancies in text, graphics, barcodes, QR codes, color or Braille.
The Veralto operation is designed to insert these checks directly into Esko workflows. Checks are no longer performed at the end of the chain, but at each validation stage, between the various parties involved, from marketing teams to production.
"Consumer goods and pharmaceutical companies face considerable demands to meet regulatory and brand consistency standards when launching new products to market quickly and accurately." says Jennifer L. Honeycutt, President and CEO of Veralto. "Integrating GlobalVision's core technology with Esko's workflow solutions will enable our customers to get their products to market faster and avoid costly errors by ensuring packaging accuracy and compliance."
Since 2023, GlobalVision has recorded compound annual sales growth of around 19%, and forecasts future sales growth of around 15%. And for 2026, it is forecasting sales of around $25 million. Adjusted EBITDA margin will reach around 30% excluding transaction-related costs.
Completion of the transaction remains subject to the usual conditions.
