To celebrate the end of the year, the GPA Global group specialized in packaging and display solutions based in China has imagined a gift box for its customers and suppliers.
"For us, 2021 has been all about sustainability in packaging, and in particular the development of new, more environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic, such as molded pulp. This led us to develop a festive mailer that is entirely plastic-free and contains a snowflake decoration." explains the group, which employs 1500 people in China, the United States and Poland.
The box, made of white FSC-certified cardboard, features a snowflake and the GPA brand in blue gilding on the outside. The inside is decorated with foliage and snowflakes also in blue gilding.
The decoration contained in the box is composed of two pieces of plywood to be nested in each other. It is accompanied by a blue ribbon used to hang the snowflake.
"We're happy to say that the entire box is plastic-free, right down to the sticker that seals the envelope."
