Canon's new line of toner production presses, the imagePRESS V, launched last April the imagePRESS V900 production press is the latest addition to the imagePRESS family. The imagePRESS V900 is an entry-level model that offers, according to its manufacturer, "the widest variety of applications printable on a single compact press" .
A toner press for a wide range of media and applications
Occupying only 1.3 m by 0.9 m of floor space, the digital color sheet-fed printer handles a wide range of media, from plain 70 g/m² paper to high quality paper 2 up to 350 g/m² cards 2 we also offer envelopes, automatic double-sided banners of 762 mm and 1300 mm for manual double-sided printing, embossed papers and synthetic materials.
At 90 A4 pages per minute (ppm), the imagePRESS V900 is designed to produce monthly volumes of up to 500,000 A4 pages.
Canon offers a wide range of input and output options such as stapling, punching, collating, offsetting, saddle stitching and folding modules.
A machine equipped with automation and remote control for optimized production
The imagePRESS V900 also features a variety of automations. For example, the document feeder makes quick adjustments for duplex registration, which ensures a maximum duplex registration tolerance of 0.8 mm.
It is also possible to be alerted remotely when the press needs to be refilled with consumables.
This machine is also compatible with Canon's print management applications, PRISMAsync Remote Manager, which allows remote management of press jobs, and PRISMAlytics Dashboard, which presents and analyzes key performance indicators.

This new press will be available in two other speeds (with the V800 and V700 models for 80 ppm and 70 ppm respectively) from December 2022.
