Kongsberg PCS expands its range of tools for its Kongsberg C cutting tables already rich of about twenty instruments. During the All4Pack exhibition held from November 21 to 24 in Paris Nord Villepinte, Ivan Schelfhout, Benelux sales manager of the manufacturer of digital cutting solutions, presented its three new accessories.
The tool Dual Heavy Duty is the only tool on the market that combines grooving and perforating, according to Ivan Schelfhout. It combines two independent wheels, the grooving wheel next to the perforating wheel. The one that is not used goes up on its vertical axis. " There is no need to change tools to go from grooving to perforating which saves a lot of time."
With a wheel pressing force of 50 kg, this tool is compatible with double and triple corrugated boards as well as corrugated plastic and foam board. And several varieties of creasing thicknesses and perforation types are offered.
The tool Corruspeed is a static cutting tool which allows it to reach a higher speed than oscillating cutting tools while offering a superior cutting quality. The cutting table reaches 100 m/min.
Its operation is based on a blade mechanism coupled to a cup that exerts a constant pressure on the substrate. This allows the blade to slice through the substrate without tearing or damaging it. It works with corrugated cardboard up to double fluted BC.
The unit Variangle allows you to make cuts at any angle between 0 and 60° in 0.5 degree increments. "One tool makes all these angles. Usually, you need one tool per angle."
The tool cuts supports up to 16 mm thick with angles up to 60°. The thickness reaches 20 mm with 45° angles and 30 mm with straight cuts.
