Nordvalls Etikett now has five production sites, two of which are outside Sweden.

One of Sweden's largest label manufacturers is continuing its expansion outside its borders. After taking over English Watermill Press in 2021, Nordvalls Etikett, which had a turnover of 66 million euros last year, is moving to Germany, where its parent company the PID Group is headquartered, with the acquisition of Kölle Etiketten.

Kölle Etiketten is a printing company with 36 employees that has been run by the same family since its foundation in 1884. The company located near Stuttgart manufactures self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging, mainly for the food industry, and more specifically for the tea sector by producing tea labels and envelopes.

The acquisition of Kölle gives the Swedish company a "reinforced presence" on the German market, but also a "broader product portfolio" says the group of 170 people. "Kölle is an ideal complement to our existing printing facilities in Sjöbo, Bjuv, Nässjö (in Sweden) and Bradford (in England)." said in a statement, Patrik Jenemark, CEO of Nordvalls.
The Swedish company offers different types of labels and packaging for the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, e-commerce and logistics, wood, paper and pulp and manufacturing markets.

The German company will continue to be managed by the same management, with Managing Director Philipp Kölle, the fourth generation to lead the company.

Nordvalls Etikett's parent company, Possehl Group based in Lüberck, Germany, is also a co-shareholder in the German web offset press manufacturer Manroland Goss (along with American Industrial Partners).
