World's first installation of Fujifilm's Acuity Ultra Hybrid led

The English printer specialized in high-end large format has already been a beta-tester of another machine from the Japanese manufacturer.

The world's first Acuity Ultra Hybrid led has taken up residence at Echo House in Surbiton, UK. The company, which specializes in the design and production of displays for luxury brands and museums, has become the beta tester of the machine unveiled at Fespa 2022.

Echo House was already the first company in the world to install the 5-meter wide Acuity Ultra in 2018. "This machine is still going strong âeuros although we had to move it to make room for the new machineâeuros! We are delighted to be the first once again" said Peter Onyskiw, director of operations at Echo House, in a statement.

The Acuity Ultra Hybrid led, a 3.3 m wide hybrid press

The Acuity Ultra Hybrid led is a high-end 3.3m wide printer for flexible and rigid media, printing at speeds up to 218m 2 /h in roll-to-roll and offers a print resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. The Acuity Ultra Hybrid LED prints in CMYK, Lm, Lc and white as standard.
Fujifilm has designed a range of inks specifically for this machine, Uvijet UH. The new range of inks is Greenguard Gold and AgBB certified.
