CalderaRIP compatible with the new HP Latex 2700 and 2700W

Users of the latest 3.2m wide Latex printers can now use CalderaRIP V16.

The French editor Caldera adds new drivers to its RIP for large format printing. Compatible with more than 1600 devices from different manufacturers, CalderaRIP V16 launched in November is now certified to pilot the new hP Latex 2700 and 2700 W digital printers .

Users of these 3.2 m wide roll-to-roll presses, which were released last October, benefit from the latest features of version 16 of the Strasbourg-based publisher's RIP.

The CalderaRIP V16 version includes Adobe PDF Print Engine V6, the latest version of Adobe's PDF engine (APPE). APPE V6 delivers the expected rendering with wider gamuts and better support for varnishes and films, according to Caldera.

CalderaRIP V16 also includes the latest Fogra standards in the PrintStandardVerifier module. This module performs compliance checks before printing.

The new version of the large format RIP also allows you to group multiple projects with different cut contours into a single multi-page PDF file.

The HP Latex 2700 and 2700W (with white) presses use water-based Latex inks packaged in recycled cardboard and plastic. They allow to print in bright colors at 89 m 2 /h (and up to 121 m 2 /h as standard).
