Stratus Packaging now has a total turnover of almost 90 million euros.

Stratus Packaging now has an eighth production site. The label manufacturer with operations in France and Switzerland has taken over the Isère-based company Décomatic and its 112 employees, bringing the group's workforce to 462 and its turnover to 89.3 million euros.

Based in La Verpillière, Décomatic, equipped with flexographic and digital printing, produces sleeves, adhesive labels (simple and with booklet), labels with collars, medical envelopes and secure pouches. The company has a turnover of 18 million euros.

For Stratus Packaging, which manufactures sleeves, IMLs and adhesive labels (single, multi-page, open and close, peelable coupons, wrap-around, booklet, traceability or RFID), the two companies are particularly complementary "with a product offering for a wide range of sectors".

"Decomatic now relies on a reference ally in the world of self-adhesive labels to consolidate its positions and ensure its durability." says Jean-Luc Allègre, Décomatic's manager.

Isidore Leiser, CEO of Stratus Packaging, adds: "Decomatic and Stratus Packaging have become strong brands in their respective markets. There is no doubt that the synergy of strategies, resources and ideas will benefit all our customers and our teams. Our sales networks will benefit from a wider range of solutions and a capacity for innovation to meet all needs".

The managers, who both succeeded their father at the head of the company, also appreciate "the family anchor" of both companies "which has been fundamental" in this rapprochement and which "greatly accelerated the discussions." between the parties.
