At Fespa 2023 in Munich, Germany, May 23-26, Agfa will unveil for the first time the Flex RTR, a roll-to-roll printing module for its range of hybrid large format inkjet printers Jeti Tauro H3300 led . This module marks "the next step in the history of Tauro automation" for Agfa.
The Flex RTR module, that does not need to be disarmed, allows you to quickly switch from rigid to flexible media. With the push of a button, the rollers that control the tension of the substrate move upward, allowing for quick and effortless loading of the media by one person, without the need for removal or reinstallation.
This module was developed to match the high printing speeds of the 3.3 m wide machine, the fastest machine in Agfa's range of large format multi-pass inkjet printers that can reach 905 m 2 /h.
This new equipment also handles single and double roll printing, with a maximum roll diameter of 400 mm and a weight of 450 kg for each roll and up to 3.3 m width in single mode and 1.6 m in double mode. Switching from one-roll to two-roll printing and vice versa is "a fast and simple process, achievable by a single operator."
Available now for all Tauro H3300 led printers, the Flex RTR module will be on display at Agfa's booth B2-D15 at Fespa.
