Dutch printing group Simian sets foot in France

With the acquisition of the French platform Flyerzone.fr, Simian intends to rapidly expand its sales in France.

Netherlands-based printing group Simian enters the French market with the acquisition of Flyerzone.fr, an online printing site based in Montpellier.

With 170 employees, Simian generates sales of 27 million euros with its Reclameland, Drukland.be and Flyerzone.nl brands, offering flyers, envelope wrappers, stickers, business cards, envelopes, banners and banners to professional and private customers in the Dutch and Belgian markets.

The French Flyerzone.fr - which has no connection with Flyerzone.nl - has until now belonged to the English Grafenia group. The two-employee Montpellier-based company will keep its name and its premises. Recruitment is expected to take place over time.
All production, hitherto outsourced to neighboring countries including Germany and the Netherlands, will be repatriated to the Group's 26,000 m 2 based in Groningen in the north of the Netherlands, and equipped with a Landa S10P press since 2020.

With this acquisition, Simian acquires a platform "to rapidly develop sales in France" he says.
"This is a new stage in our growth in Europe. We want to offer the French a wide assortment of printing products, as we do in the Netherlands and Belgium, and hope to rapidly win a good share of the French market." explains Simian CEO Wouter Haan in a press release.
And the CEO remains open to new acquisitions in other European countries.
