Durst Group and Omet strengthen their partnership

The agreement includes the launch of new hybrid printing systems and the development of the Xjet.

Digital printing technology manufacturer Durst and flexographic printing systems manufacturer Omet extend their partnership. The two Italian brands have signed an agreement for the joint manufacture and development of integrated hybrid printing systems.

Omet and Durst specify that the Xjet hybrid machine launched in 2018 and consisting of Durst's Tau RSC UV inkjet solution and the Omet X6 flexo printing and finishing press will be further enhanced, via this partnership.

The new solutions will be distributed through the Durst sales and service network.

Thomas Macina, Sales Director for Labels and Packaging at Durst, is delighted with this agreement, which will enable Durst to offer "a complete range of integrated conventional and digital printing solutions for all label and packaging converters worldwide".

"Omet is proud to strengthen the partnership with Durst. We combine the best technologies to deliver excellent solutions and added value to customers." adds Marco Calcagni, Omet Sales Manager.
